Peeters, Jolynne, LVT - Cohort 2007
Jolynne Peeters is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and instructor in the Veterinary Technology Program at Michigan State University. She graduated with a Certificate in Veterinary Technology from Michigan State University in 1982; a BA in Human Resource Management from Spring Arbor University in 1991; and an MA in Higher, Adult and Lifelong Education from Michigan State University in 2003. Jolynne has been a part of Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine since 1982. Initially her role was as a clinical technician in the Oncology, Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery sections of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. In 1995 Jolynne joined the Veterinary Technology Program faculty as a full-time instructor.
Jolynne’s initial teaching responsibilities included the establishment and teaching of the first off-site nursing skills training course for MSU Veterinary Technology students at the Capital Area Humane Society. Her current Veterinary Technology courses include Hospital Procedures and Communication; Veterinary Technology Careers and Professional Development; Biomedical Research and Regulatory Issues; and Health Care Development for Veterinary Technicians. Jolynne is also involved in a variety of courses teaching large, small and laboratory animal clinical skills and handling techniques to both Veterinary Technology and DVM students.
